A new version of the Model 4(p) KERMIT is now available.
This version is based on the OLD Model 4(p) KERMIT that I
originally took from the Model 3 version done by Stan Barber at
Rice University. This particular version incorporates a rewrite
of 70+% of the code. Several new features have been added. The
added features include REMOTE capabilities, eighth bit quoting,
and repeat count prefixing. I also have an H19 filter to go with
the package. The new version will be appearing as part of the
Columbia University KERMIT distribution. If you want it, you
should be able to get it via anonymous FTP from CU20B within a
week or 2 of seeing this message. It should also be available
from the other KERMIT distribution sites NEXT month. The
distribution points are only updated once a month.
