a I am trying to upgrade the memory in my 8K TRS100. I here there are various 3rd party distributors inwho sell 8K chips for $25-3$40.00 each. If anyone has purchased these chips I was wondering if you could be so kind as to send me their Model or Part # and the name of the company which makes the chip ie. Hitachi,Texas Inst. etc. The chips are probably cheaper here in Canada and one can avoid having t to pay duty/customs on the parts if they can be purchased here! In fact a $25.00 US chip would cost me $45.00 here if it is ordered from our goo good neighbours to the south and after it has run the 'Custom Gauntlet'. Any assistance in this matter would be deeply appreciated. In fact I may be able to return the favour to other US TRS!))00100 user's since if the chips cost $25,.00 Canadian here then they would only be $17.00 each US each to any TRS100 users who would want me to sndend them some from Canada!!
