TO Ross Alford and anyone else who cares: Re: technical info on Tandy products. You have to remember that the guys in the computer centers are paid for the most part on a comission basis and unless you are interested in a larger purchase, the majority of the order takers unfortunatly aren't interested in going to a lot of trouble in getting a technical manual for you. And... a lot of them don't know they can do it either. (I wonder when the last time John Roach waltzed, unannounced in to a retail outlet and posed as a regular customer....? I have a feeling Tandy would be replacing employees right & left.... then again, or would they?) What ever happened to the feeling, "The customer pays my salary, I'll do every thing I can To help him"? Sounds great comming from the top, but to often it fades away before getting to the lower eschilons! However, unless things have changed, you may order the manual (or any other part) yourself from: Tandy National Parts 900 E. Northside Dr. Ft. Worth TX 76106 (817) 870-5600 The ladies that answer the phones are quite helpful and knowlegable and should be able to help you. For what ever it's worth, I believe that Bill Walsh is still head of customer service. Or at least he's high enough to get action. Pardon the mild flame. As an ex-Tandyite and still stock holder, I have 'walked many a mile in those moccasuns', so I know from wence I came.
