Anyone have a routine that will convert an ascii file into something that edtasm can read? I really wouldn't mind knowing what the deal is with edtasm anyway. It's so weird. thanks in advance. John B. Windberg Reed College Portland Or johnw@reed

Is it possible to write z80 code using model iii edtasm then transfer it to model iv, if the program was originally designed for model iv?? I haven't got model iv edtasm, but I do have two versions of iii edtasm thanks in advance johnw

The only thing is that DOS calls in Model 4 DOS are quite different as are all I/O calls to screen and keyboard etc. I don't use edtasm but I do all my assembly for Model I, III, IV and Max-80 using the same Model III assembler in Model III mode on my Model 4. Then I transfer to whichever machine it is for. Mike Gingell ...decvax!mcnc!ecsvax!mjg ...of Hyperzap and Hypercross fame ....
