[net.micro.trs-80] Need A Better Way To Back Up A Tandy 6000

scott@boake2.UUCP (Scott Boake) (10/16/86)

I have a number of customers running Tandy 6000 computers well in excess of 100
Meg of Hard Drive (bit of an over kill eh?) Currently they are either:

	1) Backing up to floppys (boo hiss boo)
	2) Backing up to Cart. Hard Disks (Bernolli Box) (boo)

The Cart. HD is not bad, but at 1 meg/min for backup you have to change
carts every 10 min or so.

Some time ago I rember an ad in a Unix Mag for a 60-Meg Cart Tape Drive that
hooked in at the 8" floppy port. I've been looking through old Unix mags
but cannot find the ad.

If you know of * ANY * type of tape drive for the Tandy 6000 please drop
me a line.
