Summary of net.micro.trs-80 for 6/11/84 through 6/25/84 --johnc This week, we had many articles, and even one continuing discussion, something not normally seen in this group. It seems that one RS dealer heard a rumor that the 4p was going to be discontinued, but trsvax!jsf007 denies it. Let's hope he's right and the 4p stays around. Some subjects dicussed: * distinguishing noon from midnight, on mod 4 * using the coco as a unix terminal * Apple <--> Trs-80 communications * using floating point calculations on a trs * (briefly) floppy disks for sale * accessing more memory on the 2000 * help with the 16A As you can see, lots of discussion. I am interested in seeing more talk about the 2000. Anyone have one? Is it easy to use? Any fun/hassels with it? Let's hear what you 2000 owners have to say.
