[eat me, Alice] OK, so now we know how to pronounce "gigabyte". How about "PC/IX"? P-sicks? PC-icks? P-kicks? Responses to net.followup, please. [] You pronounce it very, very carefully. I have been working with at least four people from IBM ( a marketing rep, a field engineer, and two S. E. 's ) since last Tuesday trying to get it to work on my PC - XT. IBM has been very helpfull and responsive; but I can't get PC/IX to work! I posted a help request to net.micro.pc last week, BTW. As soon as it is up and running, I will post a review to net.micro.pc. Sorry about not posting this to net.followup and not giving you the correct pronounciation of PC-IX. David S. Seems to me this was thrashed out a few months ago. The definitive answer (in my humble opinion) was "pickaxe". Jim Shankland ..!ihnp4!druxy!opus
