Hoang, AT&T Denver, ihnp4!drutx!vqh Two years ago, my wife's company (not AT&T affiliated) leased portable data entry terminals from AT&T-IS for the functions you describe. They were used for inventory, time reporting for clerks, etc., and included bar code readers. The only deviation from your requirements was that they were not on line devices; that is, after you had entered all the data, you would dial up your computer, attach the included acoustic coupler to the phone, and key the PDE to transmit the data. They worked OK. Unfortunately my wife is out of town this week, so I can't ask her what model number they were. Any AT&T-IS (whatever you are now) people remember these? P.S. They were about the size of a portable CB radio.
