Welcome to net.games.go, a place where people who want to discuss the ancient oriental game of Go can gather. I envision this group to be used for strategy discussions and locating playing partners. If we can come up with an appropriate format, it might also be used for people to play games in public, but I think mail is a better forum. For those that don't yet know, I have offered to keep a list of people willing to play go, and to try to set up games between them. If there is enough response, I might try to keep track of games and rankings and publish them occasionally. If you want to get on my list, please mail your name, net address, and handicap if any.
