Could someone direct me to a Computer Go game,
maybe the Wilcox program from Michigan?
I haven't been keeping up lately, but wasn't
this about the best (still lousy in absolute terms) as
of several years ago? Anything new since then?
I have most of the journal articles on the
subject before about 1981, but any references to
new info would be appreciated.
By the way, I am quite new to the net and this is
my first posting. It turns out an off color joke
posting got us in management trouble some time ago,
and we can't read anything that isn't work related,
e.g. net.games.go .
(Of course, anything that could play go well would
have an amazing expert system, heuristic search ability -
sounds work related to me...) While our friendly super-user
will discretely pass along a batch of news every once
in a while, it certainly isn't on any regular basis, and
it seems there wasn't anything recently in .go anyway.
Therefore, please respond to this with direct mail to me
(and if you still have any old interesting .go stuff
lying around, a big mail message of it might be nice, too).
Since I haven't read anything in .go, is this for computer
go, for tournament and club info, or both?
