The China Wei-Chi (Go) Society announces a tournament March 2-3 to celebrate the New Year and the new location at 211 Canal St., NYC. (5th floor) Registration begins at 9:00 A.M., play begins at 10:30 sharp! Playing fees are $8 for kyu-level, $12 for dan-level, Round-Robin or Swiss will be used in the various sections. Most of the entry fees will be used for cash prizes. Time limits will be one hour for each player, thereafter 20 stones in 10 minutes. In addition to the special tournament, the club is now open on weekends from 1 P.M. - 9 P.M. and on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 P.M. until everyone leaves. Playing fees are $2 for one visit (first visit free), or $10 per month for unlimited play. A phone will be installed in the near future with a listing as "China Wei-Chi Society".
