I've also tried to get a hold of the chairperson of the Holmdel, NJ BTL Go Club. No luck. He must be on vacation. I'll get some eventually. About your third point: No, I haven't noticed that really good Go players aren't women. I simply have noticed that there aren't very many women go players at all in the US. You're blowing off a lot of hot air, like Bobby Fisher, who said that he could teach any man in x weeks to beat any woman chess player in the world (or something to that effect). Go to Japan, where their are many more go players and many more women go players, and see how strong the women professionals there are. Maybe not up to the men, yet, but then neither are women marathoners up to men marathoners yet. Wait until the pools of participants in go (or marathoning) are equal and the pools of experience are more equal and the social attitudes towards women playing "games" and "sports" and being in competition are more favorable. Then make your judgments. Or are you putting me on and trying to stir up some flames here on this go board to let the powers that be know that we have some real traffic here?
