Available for anonymous ftp from host mimsy is a Go front-end. I am not
posting it to net.sources at this time because I think it needs a lot of
improvement, but there are not enough computer-playing go players here
at Maryland for the right kind of feedback. So if a few of you want
to copy this, compile it, and tell me what you think, we can both benefit.
Grab the file goworld.shar (about 86k). It runs under Sun 2.0, at least
(that is all I have tried it on). It has the usual features of undoing,
dumping boards to files and reading boards from files, as well as several
silly options (e.g. three different ways of placing stones via mouse).
Have fun, and don't forget to write.
