I'd like to suggest some excellent books on Celtic culture for net subscribers. I've read most of them from beginning to end and the rest I've sampled. formidable reference work covering both orthography and
origin as well as quite a few p's and q's. it should
be accessible (snicker) to anyone `familiar with the
comparative grammar of the Indo-European languages'.

For anyone, such as Barbara Petersen, interested in books on Celtic culture I recommend the following: The Celtic World Barry Cunliffe This covers Celtic history from ancient times to the present and is well written and beautifully illustrated but it is also fairly expensive at about $45. Try to locate this in a library or get your library to buy it. Celtic Heritage Alwyn and Brinley Rees This is more detailed and technical and deals only with ancient times. National Geographics, May 1977 A well written, in-depth article. The Stars and the Stones Martin Brennan A completely new and fascinating look at the art and astronomical alignments of ancient megalithic structures. The Search for Lost America Salvatore Michael Trento An in-depth examination of recently found artifacts of Celtic colonization of America before the time of Christ. America B.C. Barry Fell Very similar to The Search for Lost America, but presents more and different findings. Saga America Barry Fell A sequel to America B.C. with still more findings.
