???????????????

Text books on the Breton language are printed by:

		Cork University Press
		University of Cork
		Cork, Ireland

The Beginner's Course in Breton costs 10 Punt (Irish Pounds) and the
Elementary Breton/English Dictionary by Delaport costs 4 Punt. The dictionary
can also be purchased from:

		Facsimile Books
		Fifth Avenue & 55th Street
		New York, New York
		(212) 581-2672

They will also mail books anywhere you like. The University of Cork
might be a good starting point for inquiries about Cornish texts or you might
try Thames & Hudson publishers. They have offices in New York and London.
There are no native speakers in Cornish because the British government has
done absolutely nothing to preserve the Celtic languages. Only when a very
forceful protest campaign is mounted do they finally cave in to massive
pressure as happened in Wales.
The British government is the greatest enemy of the preservation of
the Celtic languages because it would like to homogenize all these people into
the English culture (sic). Have you ever seen a performance by a group of
Morris dancers? When TV reporters interviewed some people in New York who
witnessed a performance, they couldn't keep a straight face or give a serious
answer. Most people simply turned their faces away from the camera and
laughed hysterically. And this is what they want us to become a part of.
