Does anyone know where I might find a copy of Alan Stivell's recording
"Renaissance of the Celtic Harp"? I've searched high and low and called
record shops from NY to LA, but without success. I can't even find out
which label released it. Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

"Renaissance of the Celtic Harp" was released on the Philips
label, number 6414 406, and can be ordered by any number
of record stores. I suggest, among others, Rare Records
in Glendale, California;  Artichoke Music in Portland, Oregon;
Rhino Records in Los Angeles and Pomona, California; and
Rose Records (I think) in Chicago, Illinois. Also try
any of the popular chains like Tower Records or Music Millenium.

Enjoy!

Here in Seattle, I buy my records primarily from:
  Galway Traders
  7518 15th NW
  Seattle WA 98117
  206-784-9343

I don't know if they do much, if any, mail order, but it might be worth
checking out. They have the *largest* Celtic music record selection I have
seen anywhere, and I'm sure if they don't have the record (Alan Stivell's
recordings are usually in stock there) they can get it. They've imported
a number of records that otherwise would not be available in the US.

If you're ever in the area on a Sunday, it might be worth stopping by. They
sometimes have local musicians playing in the kitchen..
