Did you know that there was a spin-off series for the Doctor?
The Title was "K-9 & Company", starring everyone's favorite tin dog with
Elizabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith on Earth, 1979. Actually, only the
pilot episode was made, but still...
Anyone who remembers the episode where Sarah left the TARDIS will realize
that there is a problem here! Most of the UNIT stories take place in the
early 1980's, and that is when Sarah was supposed to be travelling with the
Doctor. When she leaves, the Doctor told her she was at Hillshire Road in
South Croyden. She says, after he leaves: "This isn't Hillshire Road!
This isn't even South Croyden!!" Well, folks. It wasn't the right place.
We now know it wasn't the right year either!! Typical of the Doctor,
wouldn't you say? 8-)
