Can anyone tell me what the Dr.'s song is? I have been told that the song we know of wasn't origianaly(sp) made as the theme song of the dr.who show. Does anyone know what it really is, or if I'm wrong? Also, what colors make up Tom Bakers origianal (sp) scarf? Is it the wine or the brown one? What song? A song has NEVER been used as the theme for Dr. Who. The theme has always been music synthesized by the BBC Radiophonics Department. -- From the Tardis of Mark Callow msc@qubix.UUCP, decwrl!qubix!msc@Berkeley.ARPA ...{decvax,ucbvax,ihnp4}!decwrl!qubix!msc, ...{ittvax,amd70}!qubix!msc

Sorry, I guess I said song when I meant music. The music played at the beginning of the show was used somewhere else, not as the theme music, if my friend is right. Can anyone tell what that use was? -- From the Ever-Questioning Mind of johnc ...!decvax!dartvax!johnc :->

The Dr. Who theme song is by Ron Grainer, who I'm sure you will all remember also wrote the theme for "The Prisoner". === Guy Riddle == AT&T Bell Laboratories, Piscataway ===

There has existed for at least two years a "filksong" (fan written and performed) featuring Doctor Who and using the tune of "My Favorite Things" from "The Sound of Music". The only line that I remember goes as follows: "grubby white bag full of bright colored candy". Does anyone out there have a complete version that they could post?
