[] Has anyone else noticed that Dr. Who (and all other BBC programing) seems to be much more like live theater than U.S. programs? Dr. Who seems to place much more emphisis on character developmet, and dialog, than on slick sets and high-tech effects. (Makes for a great show!) Even the audio is different. Much less backgroun music and "audience reaction", and it kind of sounds more like it was filmed in a theater. Sort of hollow. (Have you ever heard how hollow an empty theater sounds during rehersal?) Seems Hollywood has had too big an effect on U.S. T.V. Tom Baker for President!!! Chuck Jones (I don't care if he wasn't born here!!) ...we13!ll1!cej
