I've got one answer (to ericf's query) and one question on the Logopolis episode. The white "watcher" was an extension of Tom Baker himself (why, I don't know). Tom Baker's regeneration reminded me of the regeneration of the time-lord who had become a Tibetian Monk in "Planet of the Spiders", the episode in which Pertwee also regenerates. The Monk (whatever his name was) had an extension also, and when he regenerated, the extension disappeared, and the regenerated Monk then looked like his old extension. Anybody know what's behind this business? Is it explained in some other episode(s)? The point at which Logopolis confused me was in the resolution... the universe started to crumble when the Master interfered with the Logopolian's block transfer calculations, which were all that kept the universe from giving in completely to the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics (entropy). How exactly was this crumbling process stopped? The scene at the radio observeratory was rather confused... P.S. I also liked the Five Doctors, both times I've seen it. The scene with the Fastest-Robot-in-the-Universe wiping out the Cyberman patrol was especially well done. -- Jeff Myers A: "That's the Doctor." Q: "Who?"
