Fellow Fans - In response to recent requests, and hopefully as the first of other personal contributions, here is a list of 122 Dr. Who episodes spanning 19 seasons, starting with William Hartnell (November 1963) runnning through the recent Peter Davidson series (January 1982). This list chronicles the major cast changes (regenerations, deaths, newcomers, and the like), but does not include a summary of the plot. This sequencing of episodes is very useful for looking forward to an episode that you may have missed the last time. Thanks go to Guy Riddle (Piscataway) who forwarded it (around 2 years ago) from the ARPA files into net.sf-lovers, where Gregg Wolff had originally entered it. I recall that a book exists which provides full plot summaries for all of these episodes - perhaps someone who has a copy would be kind enough to post the essential information about title and publisher, to allow others to order. Also, can anyone else substantiate the gossip that Tom Baker and the latter (second regeneration, blonde) Romana were married for a short time? Someone apparently heard this at a recent Chicago gathering, where Baker was present. Actually, I liked the first (Amazon-like) Romana who presented a more formidable and interesting rivalry to the Doctor, whereas the second Romana played the part more as a foil to the Doctor's antics. One suspects that the first Romana presented some difficulty to the producer (salary demands, it was speculated) whereupon the Princess from a previous episode was cast to replace the current Romana. It just goes to show how regenerations can allow for flexible casting. bon apetit!
