[net.tv.drwho] Episode Guide -- Corrections and Additions

hobbit@sunybcs.UUCP (Thomas Pellitieri) (05/15/84)

[Of course I'll interfere! Always do what you're best at!]

I was very pleased to see the Episode Guide posted, but I do find
a few errors (at least according to "The Doctor Who Programme Guide")

Also, I would like to make a few additions.

William Hartnell's Doctor

1) An Unearthly Child -- Episodes 2-4 are sometimes refered to as
                         "The Tribe of Gum"
3) The Edge of Destruction -- Often called (incorrectly) "Beyond
                              the Sun"
8) The Reign of Terror -- Not "The French Revolution", even though
                          that is the subject.

Tom Baker's Doctor

108a) Shada (6 episodes, no book) -- Written by Douglas Adams, this
story was never finished due to
a BBC strike. Parts of what was
produce appear in "The Five Doctors"

Peter Davison's Doctor (continued)

Season 20

123) Arc of Infinity (4)* -- Tegan returns
124) Snakedance (4) -- Sequel to "Kinda"
125) Mawdryn Undead (4) -- Turlough joins, Brigadier & Black Guardian
                              make appearences
126) Terminus (4) -- Nyssa leaves
127) Enlightenment (4)
128) The King's Demons (4) -- Kamelion (a robot) joins

Season 21

129) The Five Doctors (4)
130) Warriors of the Deep (?)
131) The Awakening (?)
132) Frontios (?)
133) Resurrection of the Daleks (?) -- Tegan leaves
134) Planet of Fire (?) -- Turlough leaves, Perpugilliam
                                       Brown (or Peri, an American)
                                       joins
135) The Caves of Androzani (?) -- Doctor 5 regenerates at the end

Colin Baker's Doctor

136) The Twin Dilemma (?) -- Still 21st Season

(?) denotes an unknown number of episodes (Can any British fans help?)
Also, a few more of the stories now have books: Meglos, Full Circle,
Logopolis, and I believe the entire 19th season (not sure on Four to
Doomsday)

"How many lives do you have, Doctor? You should be dead!"
"Oh, Time Lords have 90 lives!"
"How many have you used?"
"About 137" -Loosely from "Creature from the Pit"
