[net.tv.drwho] Tom Baker Appearances

kah120@ihuxn.UUCP (Ken Heitke) (05/08/84)

I have some information that claims Tom Baker will be appearing
on Remington Steele (NBC) on Tuesday, May 15th. The same source
also states that Baker is to appear in Robin Hood which is to air
on May 22nd (I think) on CBS. Has anyone else heard about this or
have any more information to add. I have not seen Baker in any
other roles besides Dr Who and am looking forward to these appearances.

If you have cable television, and you recieve the
Hearst/A.R.T.S channel, you can see Tom Baker in an excellent
portrayal of Sherlock Holmes. I was expecting this to be some
sort of "The doctor play Sherlock", but I am now convinced
that Tom is a far more versatile actor than I previously
suspected. His character is totally different than that of
the doctor, and the Sherlock character he developed is excellent.

The show is on at 10:30 p.m. cst, and is called
"Victorian Classics".

I would be interested to see Tom Baker in something other
than Dr. Who. Any information about that would be appreciated
if put on the net.

Also, does anyone have a list of Dr Who episodes (probably
only last ones are necessary (sp), meaning Peter Davidson et
al.) I would like to see mainly the names of the episodes,
because they aren't shown at the beginning of the shows here.

Thanx in advance

And, amazingly enough, Tom Baker appeared as a dog-napper on
"Remington Steele" last night!
