(lifted without permission from the Unpaid Scientific Advisor, which is the Companions of Dr. Who newsletter) This is the episode in which we get rid of Dr. #5 and get Dr. #6. The Doctor and Peri contract a deadly poison known as *spectrox toxemia*, which has rather varied and nasty symptoms. The anitdote comes from-- bat's milk, which is rather hard to come by (although they could have contacted the Purdue Entomology Dept. :-)). There is only enough antidote for one, so guess *who* doesn't get it. The doctor basically lays down to die, and has a hallucination of the Master floating above him. This appears to make to Doctor forceably regenerate himself, rather than letting the Master get his jollies. Apparently this Doctor is rather overpowering, from reports, rather a 'either you like him right off or you hate him' type of character.
