I don't wish to be rude but you people should listen the first time.
To those of you who said the Doctor was lying to Sutekh, You were right.
Now I know the rest of you out there are going to say "Why couldn't Sutekh
read the Doctor's mind?"
It is merely because the Doctor has the power to block his thoughts.
Now before you even ask me where I got that one from, just watch the
"Invasion of Time". In this episode the Doctor hid his thoughts from
the mind-reading Vardans in order to lure them into a trap on Gallifrey.
If I see one more article on this subject I'll puke!!!
