On the topic of Logopolis: Yes, as a send-off it was definitely the pits. As a straight story,it was fair to middlin'. I think part of the problem is that Tom Baker did not give a lot of notice that he was going to quit. If you check out the previous regeneration story 'Planet of the Spiders', you 'll notice that there was a lot of work done to bring everyone together for one last merry chase. I believe that gave quite a bit of notice, and the story writers were able to put together a story that wrapped things up. I am waiting to see 'The Caves of Androzani' to see how it *goes*. Y'know, one of the clues that Baker is going away (I think) is given in the music used for the last few episodes...from "State of Decay" to "Warrior's Gate" to "The Keeper of Traken", the music gets continually more somber, with recurrent sad themes cropping up...by the time "Logopolis" finally came around, I was watching with the feeling of imminent doom. -- ---Rsk UUCP: { decvax, icalqa, ihnp4, inuxc, sequent, uiucdcs } !pur-ee!rsk { decwrl, hplabs, icase, psuvax1, siemens, ucbvax } !purdue!rsk I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints, The sinners are much more fun...and only the good die young!
