The Master showed his evil nature with his last regeneration. He did the one thing no Time Lord would ever stoop to. I don't remember the name of the show (trivial trivia), but the Master was out of regenerations with his old body, so he stole someone else's! In fact, he took over the body of Nyssa's father. (And later, he uses Nyssa by pretending to actually be her father. In a later episode she says how much she hates the Master's face. Ah-ha! And now you know what she really meant by that comment!)
