The faces shown in this battle include the author, the script editor, and I think the director and producer. Even the crew chief is there. This I got from "Doctor Who - The Key to Time" a history of Doctor Who. This book is a history of the SHOW, not the episodes. It talks about the people who made it, the public response, the popularity, the problems. It's full of enjoyable stuff. I'll post some of it to the net. In the BRAIN OF MORBIUS episode, Tom Baker gets into a "mind battle" with Morbius who is in a round glass head mounted on top of someone/thing else's body. The screen flashes scenes of the Doctor's early adventures as Morbius probes deeper into his mind. From what I recall it seems to go BEYOND Troughton/Hartnell material and shows some strange faces as if those were previous incarnations of the Doctor. But you and I know well that the Hartnell doctor is the first. So what gives? If anybody has the tape you can go back and check, but I don;t think it's mentioned in the book version.
