*** What's the point of being an adult if you can't act like a child? *** Just saw Resurrection Of The Daleks last night (Peter Davison's 4th to last episode). WOW! There were more people being killed than in an entire season, the Doctor even uses a gun! A British officer is going for help, the Doctor volunteers to go along but the officer says no, you're needed here and shoves his .45 into the Doctors hands. The Doctor continues to carry it and a few moments later they hear a scream and rush out to find a Dalek (out of its unit) attacking a guard. The Doctor then proceeds to blast away with the .45! Later, the Doctor says that he's going to kill Davros, the only reason he doesn't is because he gets locked out of Davros's lab. I was somewhat suprised to see the Doctor actually use a gun. Although he was never been a big fan of the Daleks he has had many opertunities in the past to destroy them and never has. Lots of violence, no wonder Tegan leaves. -- Kevin Thompson {ucbvax,ihnp4!nsc}!voder!kevin "It's sort of a threat, you see. I've never been very good at them myself but I'm told they can be very effective."
