ALL of the Pertwee episodes were originally in color. B&W prints are sometimes made for storage and/or merchandising (it was the discovery of merchandising prints that returned most of the Hartnell material). Since I did not have a color TV at the time I have not seen any of the early ones in color with exception of 'The Claws Of Axos' which I duly taped when the Australian Broadcasting Commission retransmitted it after they FOUND (their words) a set of color prints. Please forgive my mangleing of Pertwee's name but the first nine episodes of Jon Pertwee as the Doctor will be shown on Channel 23, Camden New Jersey, starting Febraury 16, 1985. These are apparently some of the episodes that were thought to be lost. According to Channel 23, they will be one of the first, if not the first, station to air these episodes in the United States. They now have all of the Pertwee episodes and will show them in order (hopefully) starting Feb. 16. Channel 23 shows Doctor Who on Saturday nights at 9:00. M. McCann
