I just got off the phone with Ray Craft at Lionheart. He says that they should have a bunch of Hartnell and Troughton stories ready by the summer. BUT, there is a minor catch. They are not going to be released right away. As you may have heard, Lionheart is going up on the birds in the near future. He said that the plans are to uplink the Pertwee, Baker and Davison series stuff first. Then they up uplink the Hartnell and Troughton stories. No time frame was given. Good news and bad news all in one breath. Oh well. Another side note (I seem to good at side notes lately). The two Jon Pertwee stories, 'Planet of the Daleks' and 'Invasion Of The Dinosaurs' were short two episodes because the Master tape got erased and that is what Lionheart got. So instead of holding those two stories out, they decided to edited them together the best they could and release them. I guess seeing something is better than not seeing anything at all. There was a rumor going around that the two missing episodes were in B&W and that they weren't going to make a feature tape with color & B&W mixed because some stations refuse to air B&W material and that Lionheart didn't want to make two tapes, one with and one without. Ray said that they had already committed to these two stories, so they had to do something. I hope this piece will clear up some of the rumors going around. Mr. Video PS: By the way, Lionheart has no plans of scrambling the bird signal. They have no idea what to do about home dishes.
