To start off with, apologies about the N/V typo. I either type these things in early in the morning or late at night. I catch most, but if it looks right, I don't. Alas, there is an ITN and it is related to ITV. John Nathan-Turner was in New York this past weekend and has given us some information. Doctor Who will begin taping again in early 1986 for an Autumn 1986 return to British TV. JNT has had his contract renewed for the new season, and Colin Baker is under contract for that as well. (Although that doesn't guarantee his return, with the financial problems (:-) at the BBC, I don't see them paying for two Doctors and keeping one idle!) Also: Due to the hiatus, there have been realistic discussions about a Doctor Who Movie to be made in the interim, with JNT, Colin, et al. Whether or not anything comes out of this is not yet known, but it could keep the fans happy while the poor old BBC reconciles its finances. -- James C Armstrong, Jnr. { ihnp4 || allegra || mcnc || cbosgb } !abnji!jca Send a pound to Auntie Beeb before she slits her throat!
