Here it is! The long-promised wide version of my Doctor Who Story Guide! It is formatted into 128 columns (for a safety margin), just print it out on your favorite 132-column printer. Here is a list of changes made in this version: A column for Director was added The Archive column was greatly updated and the formatting was made less cramped The Notes section was widened, and more tidbits of interest were added In addition, I've added more info on the 22nd Season and filled in some of the question marks. If you find any errors or omissions, please let me know! I am also open to more items of interest to go into the Notes section, or just plain comments on how you think it turned out, suggested changes of format, etc. I am also still maintaining the narrow version, so if you want another copy of that just let me know. I will be posting both versions periodically, when enough new information warrants, but that will probably be awhile now, as most of the current season info is on it already, and it looks as though it may be some time before the 23rd gets under way :-( ------------------------------Attached story guide--------------------------- DOCTOR WHO STORY GUIDE Version 2/7/85 wide This guide contains information in the following form: Story Production Code (SPC): Each story had a unique code associated with it that was used for filing purposes. Title: Stories `A' through `Z' had individual titles for each episode, but in the interest of organization and for saving space, only the collective title is given. After each title, the number of episodes is given in parentheses, and if a Target Books novelisation exists, that fact is noted by the presence of an asterisk, or a caret if the book's title is radically different from that of the episode. (The book's title is given in the notes section.) Writer: This column lists the author(s) of each episode. Director: This column lists the director(s) of each episode. Archives: Through the 11th season, this lists all episodes that are held by the B.B.C. archives, in black & white and colour. The symbol "a-<n>" means that all episodes except those listed exist in the B.B.C. archives. Notes: This column records any changes in the Doctor's companions, and mentions any other interesting information. In addition, the season headings show the beginning and ending dates of the original broadcast of the season, and the Producer(s) and Script Editor(s) for that season. Note on sources: This used to be primarily a modification on the earlier episode guide posted to the net oh so long ago, but I've changed it so radically since then that I may as well have left out this sentence. I checked all of the information with _The_Doctor_Who_Programme_Guide_ (all info through 18th season); _The_Official_Doctor_Who_Magazine_ Nos. 90+ (all newer stories); _The_Doctor_Who_Summer_Special_1984_ (novelisations); and _Doctor_Who: A_Celebration_ (archives). Wherever contra- dictory information occurred, I used the "majority rules" method. There are several omissions, especially for the later seasons as information was sparse. Please send me any corrections or additions you may have, especially info on the latest seasons, the current season, and the archives. If possible, mention the source your new information is from.
