For those disatisfied with DWFCA, there are many other Doctor Who fanclubs to choose from. One of them is DWIN (Doctor Who Information Network). DWIN is based in Hamilton, Ontario and puts out a newszine every two months. This 'zine averages about 20 pages and contains news, book and episode reviews editorials and letters (lots of them). To this date, the 'zine has not run any ads (at least none that I've noticed). DWIN also has local chapters in many locations in Canada and the U.S. A city does not have to be large to have a chapter (Kitchener (where I live) has a population < 200,00 and has a sizable local chapter). DWIN is fan run and does not seem to be a front for Doctor Who merchandise.
