Here's some information on the availability of one of
the Doctor Who movies. The information is from the latest
"Video" magazine's "new tapes" section :

"Dr. Who and the Daleks. Color.
     1965. Peter Cushing, Roy Castle,
     Jennie Linden, Roberta Tovey,
     Barry Ingham. Time travelers
transported to world ruled by hos-
tile robots. 78 min. Beta, VHS (Hi-
     Fi). $69.95. Thorn EMI/HBO."

A pretty high price tag, but at least it appears to be
available now in the American market. For more information

I saw this one about a year ago on an independent station.
I wasn't impressed. They changed much of the background of
the characters. Both Susan and Barbara are his grand-daughters,
and Ian is barbara's boyfriend. The Doctor isn't an alien,
but a experimenter. The TARDIS changes too, no hi-tech look
and fancy control console, instead its a jumble of loose wires
and equipment.
