[net.tv.drwho] What's Next for NJN?

nyssa@abnji.UUCP (nyssa of traken) (11/11/85)

Spoke with Eric Luskin two days ago about what comes
next for New Jersey Network after they finish with Pat Troughton;
they will probably be moving back into the Pertwee's.

That is the logical move; I feared that they'd slip back into
Tom Baker, he hasn't been seen on NJN (except briefly in 5 Drs.)
since September, 1984.

No word on NJN purchasing Blake's Seven; WHYY (Philadelphia) will
be showing it starting in January.

"All these corridors look the same to me!" Who said it, what story?

Forgot to add:

NJN will be running their fundraiser the next two weekends;
traditionally, DW has been one of their biggest money earners.
It will be interesting to see if the William Hartnell stories
caught the fancy of "casual" viewers as much as the colours.

This may also be part of the reason why "Attack" was moved up one
week, in case WH is not a money draw.

I hope so. I hope that after Pertwee, however, they will go to
the Tom Bakers, for the simple reason that:

> Tom Baker...hasn't been seen on NJN (except briefly in 5 Drs.)
> since September, 1984.
