Last Wednesday, (Dec.4), Channel 17 WNED had a Dr. Who night. First
they showed _The_Five_Doctors_ in one sitting from 8-10 pm (with pledge
breaks in between) and then the first of the Pertwee shows
_Spearhead_From_Space_ from 10-12. According to them, they have been
trying to get _The_Five_Doctors_ for some time but it was too
expensive, and the price came down recently so they got it, but they
had to have a special pledge night just for Dr. Who fans. (they got the
300 new pledges they were aiming for) Also that the Pertwee shows have
just become available and they will start to show it, which will take
us into Feburary. _Spearhead_from_Space_ seems to be in perfect shape,
except in the 2nd (3rd ?) episode there was music for both the start
and the ending of the show but the screen was completely blank.
