I recently saw the (very fine) film "Dreamchild", which concerns the life of Alice Liddell Hargreaves, of "Alice in Wonderland" fame. During the opening credits, I'm sure I saw one "Verity Lambert" listed as an Executive Producer. Is this not the same person as the original producer of Doctor Who? If so, it's nice to see that she's still associated with original and ambitious projects. If I'm imagining all of this, I'd appreciate correction. -- Mike Urban {ucbvax|decvax}!trwrb!trwspp!spp2!urban "You're in a maze of twisty UUCP connections, all alike"

Verity Lambert has been busy since Doctor Who! She was the youngest producer ever at the BBC when she did DW, she has since gone on to produce many fine TV shows and movies. -- James C. Verity Lambert left the BBC by the early 70's and went to ITV, where she produced the popular "Rock Follies". She has also worked in Hollywood as a producer (Thorn EMI if I remember correctly, MGM if I don't :-) and has since resigned. Perhpas she is freeing herself up for the convention circuit? :-) -- James C. Armstrong, Jnr. {ihnp4,cbosgd,akgua}!abnji!nyssa "Getting a bit rough, is it?"
