[net.tv.drwho] Quote from Two Doctors book

mom@sfmag.UUCP (M.Modig) (01/15/86)

From the book "The Two Doctors", by Robert Holmes:

...Then it charged in again and Peri aimed a full-blooded punch at
where she judged its head should be. She was not a big girl but her
muscles had been honed by years as a campus sports star...

..Shot put??? ..or perhaps weightlifting?

Were you aware that an archaic definition of "sport" was "amorous
dalliance" or "lovemaking"? Hmmmmmmmm.... Maybe JNT had RH put
that in to keep up her stereotype?

PS My sincere apologies for the above, but I couldn't resist!
