I'm looking for help in a matter of color perception. My wife and I share an interest in costuming, and have in the works various frock coats, scarves, cricket sweaters, and what-have-you. Among the projects we'd like to tackle are: 1: Romana's outfit from "Destiny of the Daleks" 2: Nyssa's outfit for the better part of the 19th season The problem is, we can't quite decide what the colors are supposed to be. The Romana outfit could be either pink or lavender, and the Nyssa outfit could be brown/tan, plum/burgundy/cinnamon, brown/burgundy/gold, or something else entirely. Therefore, if any of you have strong opinions about what the color scheme really is (for either of them), please send E-mail indicating what it might be (my E-mail address is given below). Of particular interest are the observations of those of you who have seen it broadcast or played back on PAL equipment, since I'm told the color fidelity is better in that format. If there's sufficient interest in this admittedly esoteric topic, I'll summarize to the net. While we're at it, are there other people out there who are interested in the costuming end of things? It might make in interesting topic for discussion/debate. AS the sixth Doctor has shown (and John Nathan-Turner) has shown color has NO meaning. It is all in the design. Phillip Millman P.S. Can anyone tell me how Peri got on the TARDIS??? I've seemed to have missed that one.

Peri got on the Tardis by bieng carried there (by Turlough (sp?)) after he saved her from drowning. Part 1 of "Planet of Fire."
