A change to aplvax's uucp connections makes it very probable that this didn't get posted the first time (postnews gave me an "unknown site" error message), so this is a second try. If it did get out, sorry for the repetition. ------------------------------------------------------------------ In response to Sean Rouse's reply to Charles Kupperman's article on the rumors about the next season of Doctor Who ending with the destruction of Gallifrey: I'm afraid you missed the point in a big way Sean - the suspicions and rumors surrounding Michael Grade's intentions for Doctor Who are that he intends to have the series ENDED in a PERMANENT fashion, hence the rumors (still unfounded as far as I know) about the distruction of Gallifrey at the end of the next season. Therefore it doesn't matter that the TARDIS would lose it's ability to travel. Presumably it and the Doctor would be destroyed as well. As you will find out if your local PBS station is carrying Blake's 7, the BBC has done this before.
