[net.astro.expert] more on pulsing objects

Would you concur with the following statement?

The physical size of an object places no limit on how rapidly it might
pulsate, but it does limit the maximum frequency of pulsation we are
likely to see, because of the differences in light travel time
from parts of an extended object.

E.g., a light-year-wide object could pulsate at 60Hz, we just
wouldn't detect it.
