The Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope operation on Mauna Kea needs an
instrumentation technician to perform testing, upgrading and maintenance
work on the optical and electronic instruments associated with the 3.6m
telescope (spectographs, interferometers, infrared photometers and optical
coating facilities).

Qualifications: bachelor's in engineering or science, at least three years
of working experience with opto-mechanical instrumentation or cryogenic and
vacuum systems.   Good electronics background and experience with
computer-controlled instrumentation would be a plus.

Must be able to work at 4200m.

U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or able to satisfy requirements
for obtaining appropriate visa.
