In trying to install DATAPLOT on a VAX 11/780 under Berkeley 4.1 Unix I came upon this error message compiling the very first FORTRAN 77 source file: dp01.f: MAIN: Compiler error line 737 of dp01.f: Too many names. Try the -Nn option compiler error. I suspect that this has to do with increasing the symbol table size, but my efforts to guess at it's usage got me nowhere. What does the -Nn option do (if it does anything) and where is it's documentation located? Joe Earley UUCP: fortune!wdl1!jme Ford Aerospace ARPA: jme@ford-wdl1
