I don't see how that qualifies as uncompetitive. Granted, defense went to the winds for the most part, but, as Wayne Gretzky in the NHL All Star game said (approximately) "We're all entertainers, and who wants to see a 2-1 game anyway" (the NHL AS game finished 7-6). I don't think many of the people in Denver wanted to see a 92-84 score, since they seemed to be enjoying the game. I did. I do agree with the second comment, though, about the East setting up Dr. J for fancy moves a lot. Although he's my favorite player, and he *did* shoot 14/20 from the field, I wished he'd passed off a little more. But 'twas great to watch, for me at least. And I thought Magic should have been the MVP, even if the West lost. If not him, then the Doc. Andrew Royappa avr@purdue
