VERY true. Purdue offered to play Notre Dame in a one-here, one-there pre-big-ten showdown, and Notre Dame wanted to play both games in South Bend; therefore Notre Dame does not play Purdue. (In the late news, DePaul finally got taken down to size by St. Joseph's in Philly last night; so-so-sorry, Ray Meyer!) Now, Scott, on the other side of the coin I will point out that the Illini dismantled us just about they same way they dismantled you... And, yes, there is a branch of Purdue in (gag!) Gary/Hammond.
