Gee! I thought this group was exclusively the province of college ball fans. At least that was what was reflected by the OVERWHELMING majority of articles. In any case, now that I've been asked, I'll throw in my two cents. Yes, the Nets can beat the Bucks two in a row, but only if they get better perimeter shooting. Their outside shooting in this series has been so poor that the Bucks have started giving them the outside shot in order to close down the Nets' inside game. In fact, the Nets have shot well under 40% (under 35% in the last two games), and they are still only down 3-2. If they can shoot even what would be an average game for them, they ought to be able to win. And if they can shoot like they did in the 76er series, they will blow them away. The big question, though, is have the Nets thoroughly psyched themselves out with their poor shooting? By the time you read this, the sixth game (which, incidentally, I will be attending) may be over, and the last question answered. David Rubin allegra!fisher!david
