Ah yes, hoops fans, this is the faithful defender of the
NBA here again after a looong hiatus:
YES, COLLEGE-BASKETBALL-BREATH, I KNOW YOU COULDN'T CARE LESS - GET
LOST!
Well, baseball season is over (Cubs died, sob), football season
is almost over (Cowboys are dying) . . so . . it's time for the NBA!!! Yeah.
Anyway, I believe the season starts on the 27th or something.
I can't wait. All those rookies: Olajuwan, Jordan, Bowie, Perkins,
and of course, the Round Mound of Rebound, Barkley with my 76'ers.
Plus a bunch of other good guys.
Some predictions for d' coming season:
1. Sixers will win it all if they stay healthy
2. Boston will be tough, as will the Nets (curse both)
3. Lakers won't be in the finals
4. Rockets will do very well - Sampson's
got a years experience, Olajuwan will
learn fast enough, and they've got a decent
supporting cast.
5. Pacers will have a winning season (almost)
