This may be a bit premature, but my picks for the NCAA Tourney are:
The First round will feature a higher than average number of upsets, including
St. John's, North Carolina, Duke, and Michigan. Georgetown will escape
from Lehigh with a victory with a score along the lines of 32-28. Georgetown
will then lose in the Second round. The Final Four will have only one team
"expected" to be there, and I suspect that will be Memphis State. The other
three will be teams that finished at best third in their conferences, along
the lines of Maryland, Iowa, and Villanova.
NCAA Champion: Memphis State.
