Georgia Tech, I must admit, is very good. However, they've played their last 5 games on the same court. There is virtually no way that they can beat Georgetown. It will take a very well-rounded team to beat Georgetown. Actually, I believe that most of the teams which are left in the tournament have a shot at beating Georgetown. However, it is a very slim shot. Who I would like to see in the final 4: Georgetown St. John's Villanova Boston College A Big East final four would be great. Just kidding...I know it's a practical impossibility. Has any conference ever placed four teams in the final 4?

Has any conference ever placed four teams > in the final 4? I don't think so--I think that this is the first time that any conference has even placed THREE teams in the final four. Just think that if that ball hadn't bounced off of McCready's(sp?) foot against Memphis State...... ...but then they would have had to beat Oklahoma too. All in all, a pretty successful (if not up-and-down) season for Boston College. -- Bob Lynch USENET: ..{decvax,apollo}!wanginst!lynch USSNAIL: Wang Institute CSNET: lynch%Wang-Inst@Csnet-Relay Tyng Rd. lynchr%ULowell@Csnet-Relay Tyngsboro, MA 01879
